Benson Pizza menu signage design

Working with the small business owner of Benson Pizza through my employment at Office Depot in the Copy & Print department, I designed and printed posters, to-go menus, stamps and more. He was so happy with the quality of my work, he requested I design menu signage to display in his restaurant.

The design pulled together aspects of Benson Pizza’s original branding with the red, white & green colors from the Italian flag. Screened vector graphics of pizza and toppings add texture and spark hunger while the warm golden background is reminiscent of baked bread. With appetizers, drinks, a toppings list, several specialty pizza descriptions, calzones, gyros, salads, a Halal menu, and more, there was a lot of content to to balance, organize and display with easy legibility for customers.

  • Typesetting and vector art manipulation.
  • Communicate and go through proofing process with client.
  • Wide format printing and laminating.

I asked a friend of mine who owns a remodeling company to install the menus in the restaurant which I participated in successfully completing.

Unfortunately, I lost the original files when I discontinued my employment at Office Depot, so the images included in the slideshow are screenshots from reviews online.
